happy in hot pink

Happy Wednesday, readers!  To celebrate Wednesday, I’m showing a work look and how I styled the work look into a weekend look- a new posting theme for the Fashion Huntress. The lovely Fuchsia Couture by Liliana, whom you all met a few weeks ago, sent over a sneak peek look at her jeans. I was swooning over the fuchsia stitching which really looked fab with the hot pink shoes, without even remotely being too pink….if there is such a thing. As with the dress, Liliana didn’t even take measurements and I wound up with jeans that fit like a glove. Sigh. You guys, I just love when clothes fit and make you feel so fab. …what can I say? I’m clearly in too deep with clothes and probably need an intervention soon…save me…or don’t…because I’m totally happy in hot pink.

Fashion Huntress tips:

1) You’ve long since learned that I love bright colors, but hot pink is really just a bundle of joy, right? When I found these grown-up girly heels, I debated how I would be able to style them for work. I went with all black and white, and then add a touch of neon with the shoes. The shoes actually looked pretty toned down for the workplace, if you ask me. I think shoes are one of the easiest brights to style for work; you can basically tone down your entire outfit with neutrals and then go all out with bright shoes.

2) Custom jeans really can come at a high price, though if you have a hard time finding jeans that fit (who doesn’t?!), it’s a great option. I like Liliana’s line because the pieces really are affordable and much more affordable that many custom sites I’ve seen. You can give her a shout-out with any questions you have and she will definitely get back to you!

Any other readers like wearing their super brights at work? Have styling tips? Thank you, as always, lovely readers for stopping by! It means so much to me!

  1. Absolutely fabulous outfit! The pop of pink definitely makes me smile 🙂

  2. She seriously sounds like a dream, fit is the hardest with any type of pant and I am LOVING that stitching. So fun while not being too much!
