As I mentioned in my last post, I have been rotating a lot of pieces lately. Here is how I remixed and rematched them!
Metallic belt: Ann Taylor ($13 marked down from $30)
Polka dot shoes: Gap ($21 marked down from $50)
Black and brown belt: Urban Outfitters ($5 marked down from approx $25)
Fashion Huntress tips:
1) I try (“try” being the operative word here) to go through my closet once a year and donate any items that I have not worn in the past year. Unless it is something with sentimental value, it is probably time to pass it on! If you do not want to pass on the item, think of a way to rotate it back into your wardrobe. Sometimes, you may even find something you forgot you had. Who me? ….no…..erm…..
2) If you do have a few items that you really do not wear for various reasons (fit, style, color, etc.), consider having a clothing swap with your friends. My girlfriend Anne had a swap a couple of years ago. Everyone brought clothes that were in excellent condition, just not really ever worn. This is a great way to clean out your own closet and make space for new stuff! I will post later on about some of my swaps that day! Everything that was not picked up was donated to a local charity.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend, readers!
