bright white and sun spots

A little bit of sun just goes such a long way, right!? It feels like a sigh of relief to have gotten enough rain to make our yard look like the Amazon (but for real, it’s out of control), and then a day full of sunshine. I captured a little on my walk to work today; have a good week y’all!

Fashion Huntress tips:

1) Even though it may not seem like it (or maybe it does? ha!), I rotate my clothes far more than I think it seems. As you can see below, I wear the boots from this post basically all the time (fall, winter, spring, doesn’t matter1). I also last wore this necklace and the same tights in a similar look (below). The key to my change-ups is usually swapping out my blazer or shoes, etc. The looks seem very different, despite the many similarities. The key to making your wardrobe versatile is using what you already have and styling it in new ways!

2) While it is spring here, it’s still fairly cool (especially in mornings and at night), so I am still wearing my tights! Though, I do switch over to lighter colors tights this time of year, or at least wear dark tights but a very light outfit. I like to wear my dresses all year round; the easiest way to do so is just by changing out your tights and tops.

Anyone else still layering up for the weather? I hope you have a great start to your week, readers!

  1. It’s funny how round about September I look forward to Fall like crazy: the layers, the fuzzy fabrics, the coziness. But this time of year, when the same pieces will work for the “in-between” weather, I fall to pieces and can’t seem to work out what to wear at all. What’s with that? Maybe the novelty has worn off…
