Y’all, this Plenty by Tracy Reese dress was a dollar. $1.The blazer? $2. They retail $250 together, but cost me $3. Yep. Thrifting is one of my most favorite hobbies, and while I do also shop at big box retailers, I find thrifting to be the most rewarding. Never tried? Want to do more of it? Check out my list below!
Reasons why I thrift:
1) It’s good for the environment! Clothes in a landfills is a real problem across the world.
2) It gives back! A lot of thrift stores benefit local communities, give jobs to people in the community, and often recycle clothes they don’t sell.
3) It’s affordable! $1 dress above. Enough said.
4) Hunting for deals is a joy in (my) life! Finding a gem while thrifting is just a happy thing.
Thrifting doesn’t make your heart sing? No problem! Check out this handy dandy chart to see what you can do with your old clothes.
Dress: Plenty by Tracy Reese via thrift ($1, retails for approx $130)
Shoes: Sam Edelman ($50 marked down from $150)

Pretty dress!💗💗 And I am loving your bun! Can you share how did you do it? ☺☺
I get a lot of questions about this! I need to post on it! I’ll do a post actually 🙂 thanks for the idea!
But in the meantime, I can kind of verbally describe it. I basically make a high ponytail, and then I loop the hair in the back by not pulling it through all the way the last time I’m pulling it through the ponytail holder. Then I take the loop and make it from a semi circle into a full circle and pinning it in the front. WOW LOL I don’t think that makes much sense…stay tuned for post if you didn’t follow! 🙂
Thanks for explaining😃 I will stay tuned for the post. Waiting😍
Love the pattern of this dress!!!
Definitely have to revisit a thrift shop after this post .
Thanks for sharing
What a great find! What’s nice about that dress is you just add tights and a heavier blazer and you can wear it in the fall.
You are absolutely gorgeous, Melissa!!! Wow! ☺️
Yaaayyy! Thrifting is awesome! And I’ve never seen that table before but it’s really helpful 😊 wonder if it applies in the U.K.? Got a massive bag of cleared out clothes and currently trying to figure out what to thrift and where I can send the worn out ones so they actually get recycled.
Hmmm not sure but I’m wondering if you’re charity shops are the same and clothes generally end up recycled? I bet the shop owners know!! 🙂
Great finds!! Thrifting is also a great stress reliever for me 🙂
Love the pattern on the dress! I love thrifting, too; you’ll never know what surprises you’ll find.
