fun fact, part 2 (leave another! do it!)

Y’all, fun fact part 1 was so fun, I just HAD to do another fun fact post! So, without further ado! Additional fun facts and leave yours below- that’s the best part!

Hablo español! A lot of people don’t realize that I am bilingual 🙂 I spent a year living in Spain, and I also majored in Spanish literature during my undergrad years. Spanish comes in handy all the time; I wish I spoke even more languages! Maybe one day #lifegoals.

I used to get made fun of for my glasses and my hair! I just was chatting with my sister the other day about the challenges of middle school and high school; we both had stories. I’ve had glasses since 2nd grade, and I used to get made fun of for them, as well as for wearing my hair in a ponytail. Isn’t that ridiculous?! It took me a long time to own my glasses since I can’t wear contacts, but now I really do own them. They are part of my identity. And, I still love ponytails. Man, kids those (these) days, am I right, so petty!

Ruffle bodysuit (hello, 90s! they are back!): Rosegal ($19)

Jeans: Articles of Society via Nordstrom Rack ($36 marked down from approx $68)

Shoes: Christian Siriano for Payless ($15 marked down from $35)

  1. Viva España ! (not the 1974 song 😉 whoa, body suits are back? Very lovely bold ruffles in b/w, I think a photo op w/ you doing the fandango in this ootd, top/heels, a gypsy skirt, and with a brilliant pony tail and fan? ¡Olé!
    (oh, yes, ff pt 2…secret love… watching golf ! ) ;D

      1. Thanks for sharing your ff pt 2. Everyone could benefit in being bilingual. Cheers for keeping up with your Spanish. Language as are the arts are important cultural connections in our world . No matter where we’re located. ❤

  2. That bodysuit is so classy, I love it. I’ve recently gotten into bodysuits, I now see how convenient they are.

  3. My random fact for the day: I find going on safari one of the most amazing things in the world. A fellow traveler nailed it when he said, “It’s intoxicating.” He’s so right. Being able to view animals in their home is simply amazing. I feel so fortunate to have been able to experience it. The only downside is the fashion limitations! Khaki pants and shirts every day. Lol
