NOLA hurrah- part 2

img_4515

If you saw the last post, you’ll notice that I basically am going to post the same shoes in every vacation post! While I wear heels most days at work (when I’m really not walking much at all), when walking around on vacation (and when running errands, for example), I absolutely must must must wear comfortable footwear! I’ve suffered from plantar fasciitis a number of times and swear by my Crocs sandals for long distances. If you’ve ever been in the same foot boat, I recommend trying out Crocs. They really have come a long way from their standard clogs to having shoes that pair pretty easily with dresses. And no, I’m not paid by Crocs 🙂 Have a good one, readers!

Dress: Forever 21 (a lot of years ago! But I think around $20)

Denim top: thrifted ($3)

Shoes: Crocs ($40 marked down from $60)

It’s #monthlymani time again! This month we picked a #Aprilshowers theme. I created a cloud theme by sponging color on my nails with a tissue; super easy! Be sure to head over to Kristi to check out her #Aprilshowers #monthlymani! And join us next month for the #Mayflowers theme!

  1. very cute streetcar! (is that what they call them back then?) and i remember those shoes. 😉 i have to agree with you about comfy shoes for vacations, and also agree about Crocs! i completely hated the clogs when they first came out and swore never to wear any footwear from them, but i was wrong & now swear by my Crocs ballet shoes whenever i go on vacation! 😀

  2. OMG all your pictures of NOLA have perhaps just moved it to the top of my travel list! SO much charm, gah!! Also, I know you said the same thing to me, but I mean this – this is probably my FAVORITE mani you’ve done so far! Are we getting good or is it just me?! 😉
