Is anyone else watching Grace and Frankie? Shout-out to Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin for being the most fabulous ladies in television right now, if you ask me! I love love love Jane Fonda’s classic style (and attitude) in the show. In an ode to Ms. Fonda, I’m popping my collared shirt collar and sporting a scarf today…and a ‘don’t take no for an answer’ attitude!

“It’s never too late – never too late to start over, never too late to be happy.” -Jane Fonda

I haven’t seen a ton of reviews on the Victoria Beckham line for Target, so I wanted to offer my two cents. First, excellent work Target in prepping. At least in the US, the website seemed to be in better working order and did not crash when I was attempting to order. And while somehow my 5 am wake-up to place my order still meant I didn’t get a dress I had my eye on, I thought the process was a lot better than previous years! Second, the quality is truly as good as you’re going to get at Target and still a lot better quality than other Target items. To be fair, I actually think you get what you pay for and a little more at Target, so that’s not a criticism on my end. I heart Target for life. Lastly, the pieces are truly unique, and pose some interesting styling challenges. I have a couple more pieces to style and post, but here’s my first glance!

Top: Who What Wear for Target (approx $9 marked down from approx $30)

Skirt: Victoria Beckham for Target ($30)

Jacket: Gap ($25 marked down from $130)

Interested in checking it out? It’s still available in some stores and online. You can find it at Target.com

If you saw the last post, you’ll notice that I basically am going to post the same shoes in every vacation post! While I wear heels most days at work (when I’m really not walking much at all), when walking around on vacation (and when running errands, for example), I absolutely must must must wear comfortable footwear! I’ve suffered from plantar fasciitis a number of times and swear by my Crocs sandals for long distances. If you’ve ever been in the same foot boat, I recommend trying out Crocs. They really have come a long way from their standard clogs to having shoes that pair pretty easily with dresses. And no, I’m not paid by Crocs 🙂 Have a good one, readers!

Dress: Forever 21 (a lot of years ago! But I think around $20)

Denim top: thrifted ($3)

Shoes: Crocs ($40 marked down from $60)

It’s #monthlymani time again! This month we picked a #Aprilshowers theme. I created a cloud theme by sponging color on my nails with a tissue; super easy! Be sure to head over to Kristi to check out her #Aprilshowers #monthlymani! And join us next month for the #Mayflowers theme!

Y’all (southern style), I am overdue for a post! I apologize for the delay; I was on vacation with my hubs and am now back to work and life! Thanks to lots of sunshine and warmth, I managed to snag some great photos and will post them over the course of the next few posts. I miss the sun, food, people, culture, music, and everything else already! But, everything’s not lost, I’ve got the memories and photos to share…

Dress: Voom via Thred Up ($7 retails for $100)

Shoes: Crocs (seriously, magical for walking 10+miles a day)  ($40 marked down from $60)
