patience in pink

Boxes, boxes, everywhere! I am practicing patience this week as we continue to dig our way out of boxes in the new place…I am rejoicing in having found most of my clothes, at the very least!

Fashion Huntress tips:

1) I’ve learned that TJ Maxx and Marshall’s near me seem to get deliveries on Tuesdays. You can always ask someone in the store, if you aren’t sure. You can also ask when “next markdowns” will take place, as clearance items will be reduced again if they do not sell after the first markdown. Going on “shipment day” really is the best use of your time, if you don’t want to do much digging around the store. Additionally, you’ll find the best prices on days when they have done additional markdowns. If you can’t figure out the pattern on your own, just ask someone in the store- it definitely is a time saver and money saver!

2) I last featured this coat during the spring/winter transition last season (photo below). As you can see below, I again paired it with neutral and bold colors. I find that when it’s still cold, but you are tired of wearing winter sweaters, bright layers are key! Most winter pieces that are still in stores are at their lowest prices- so anything else you can still find in stores should be seriously marked down!

Anyone else have reduced price store tips? Thanks so much for stopping by readers! I appreciate it so very much!

  1. I’m so jealous you’re at the unpacking stage! I’m in the “packing” stage. And I won’t get to see most of my wardrobe for the next 6-8 weeks. 😦 *scary*

I LOVE the dress by the way – the colours are amazing!
