Ahhhh, the feeling of warm sun and air on your face! I am out celebrating in a bright white jean coat and springy pastels. Enough said; perhaps spring has officially sprung! Happy Monday, all!
“Spring has returned. The Earth is like a child that knows poems.” -Rainer Maria Rilke

Fashion Huntress tips:
1) The scale of the top and the skirt make it easy to style these two black and white pieces together. The key to pattern mixing is to match the scale and size of the print, regardless of matching the colors. Target has a ton of striped basics right now, which are really a good price point for the quality, if you ask me.
2) I really have trouble figuring out the “rules of wearing white,” so I kind-of just ignore them. I suppose technically it’s not yet time to pull out my white pants, but I usually follow my internal instincts. For me, it’s a little early in the season to wear white pants, just because it doesn’t feel warm enough for a thin pant. However, it definitely feels like time to pull out my white denim jacket! I say, forget the rules, and wear what you want!
Anyone else cautiously pulling out their spring clothing? Thanks so much for stopping by, readers! I appreciate it so very much!
Happy Monday! The scale here is ON POINT;You’re killing it! I was just discussing print mixing with some other local fashionista’s for filming on A Better Day With Julie. We could’ve used you as a perfect example of mastering scale. I hope you get out enjoy the weather this week.
