comfy cozy

If there’s one thing I can get behind in winter, it’s comfy cozy accessories. Today, I opted for my biggest scarf yet: the “blanket scarf.” Blanket scarves double as shawls and scarves. It’s my first foray into blanket scarves, believe it or not, but I can already tell I’m a fan. Today is all about comfy cozy.

Denim shirt: Forever 21 ($20)

Cardigan: Target ($13 marked down from approx $30)

Pants: NYDJ via Nordstrom Rack ($15 marked down from approx $100)

Scarf: Forever 21 ($14)

Shoes: Betsy Johnson via DSW ($16 marked down from $140)

Necklace: gift from Express a long time ago!

Fashion Huntress tips:

1) If you’re in the market for any seasonal shoes, DSW is having a deal where if you spend $50, you automatically get $10 back on triple points days (like today!). Signing up for their points program is free and the points add up pretty quick before you get $5- $10 coupons sent to you. Additionally, you receive coupons for your birthday and additional offers in the mail. I highly recommend it- and it’s free to sign up!

2) Despite the fact that I thought it would be difficult to style, a blanket scarf is actually pretty easy to style. You can go full blown giant around the collar (first photo in post), or you can go cape or drape (both shown in post). Forever 21 has a good selection of these scarves at fairly low prices- so it’s a good way to try one out!

Anyone else loving blanket scarves? Have styling tips? Thanks so much for stopping by, readers! I appreciate it so very much!

  1. YOu are just so adorable!!! LOVE that scarf and in fact I LOVE the entire ensemble. How you can pull off putting the neatest combination of clothes off …. you sense of style and your creativity are outstanding!!! ❤

  2. Your first foray into blanket scarves was a success! I looove chunky swallow-me-whole scarves in Winter. I also like the b/w pattern on yours coz it means it will coordinate well with so many pieces in one’s closet! (:
