never too much (tutu)

Seriously, if you put “Disney Princess” on an article of adult clothing, I’m pretty much sold on it. Enter: the Lauren Conrad LC Cinderella collection for Kohl’s. Between the Milly collection and the Cinderella collection, Kohl’s totally has my heart lately. Never say never, readers, they have really upped their fashion game, if you ask me. I’m totally embracing my inner Disney princess today because there’s never too much tutu in this world!

Fashion Huntress tips:

1) A lot of the LC Lauren Conrad Cinderella has sold out online. However, when I was in the store, I found quite a few items that were sold out online. So, if you’re still in the market to snag anything from the line, I definitely recommend checking out your local store. There are still a few pieces online as well (I’m definitely eyeing that “bippidi boppidi boo” shirt, personally). You can find the collection at: http://www.kohls.com

2) Tutus. At first, I thought they were a little difficult to style. But, in actuality, they really aren’t! Pinterest is definitely your friend if you are looking for inspiration and ideas.  The key, I think, is to ensure you both look professional and not child-like. I opt for high heels, and avoid any other “frills” such as bows or ribbons. The tutu is more than enough frill and fun for the workplace, so I definitely recommend keeping everything else streamlined and simple.  My Pinterest board has quite a few tutu images. If you’re ever interested in checking out my inspiration board, you can find it here!

Additionally, here are some of the other ways I’ve styled tulle/tutus for work:

  3. You are so ridiculously gorgeous in your tutu’s and your tips to style that extravagant tutu are absolutely perfect. Completely agree with you on the note of keeping the remainder of your outfit more streamline and clean! This is one thing I have not yet incorporated into my style – now I’m questioning myself as to why I haven’t done so yet?!?! Hope you had an amazing weekend gorgeous!

  4. I totally have that skirt and love it! It looks adorable on you. I’m a huge fan of tulle skirts. Some of my favorite ways to rock one is with a chambray shirt and short cowboy boots. Tulle skirts always look cute!
