The sweet smell of magnolias is in the air, readers! Annabelle, our dog, couldn’t resist joining me for this photo session. She too loves to hang around spring flowers…and to try and make friends with birds and squirrels. Given the slight chill in the air, I combined the “fall color” of marsala with the “spring color” of mint for a cool spring morning look. It’s magnolias, marsala and mint- and waiting for more May flowers!

Fashion Huntress tips:
1) Knee high boots tend to be worn more in fall and winter, but I liked wearing these boots with pastel pants for a cool weather winter to spring transitional look. By mixing mint and marsala, I streamlined my “winter gone spring” look even further. Lastly, adding a denim button down allowed a way to layer for both indoors and outdoors without having to wear a separate coat. Mixing and matching your “season specific” pieces allows you to get more wear out of your entire wardrobe, which is always a bonus!
2) I found my “whistle while you work” bracelet via the Alex and Ani line designed for Disney.
Umm, basically my heart beats for anyone that does a collaboration with Disney. You can read more about the collection and find some of the pieces online here and here. If you happen to be in the parks, some are sold exclusively in the parks. You can find what shops sell them here. I found mine in the Women’s Fashion section of the “Emporium” retail store right near the entrance of the Magic Kingdom. Below are two of my pictures from the trip!
Anyone else loving Alex and Ani? Thanks so much for stopping by, readers! I appreciate it so very much!
