spring stripes

IMG_4456

Oh my, it’s a big day!! I am exposing my toes to the elements! And it’s going really well because I can still feel my toes, there’s a warm breeze, and the sun is shining. It really is the little things, right? Today, I am coloring inside the lines in black and white stripes. …my toes are wiggling as we speak; I think we are all excited for sandals, summer, and sun!

Fashion Huntress tips:

1) I hadn’t visited Asos in the past, so when I won the giveaway through Windy City Wardrobe, I was, of course, super excited. First and foremost, I love Dasha’s blog and love how the blogging community unites people, both near and far. In this case, Dasha is a fellow Chicago blogger! Secondly, I love checking out new fashion sites, especially ones that have such a diverse range of clothing and accessories. I found the necklace featured here, and still have more finds to share! Stay tuned! If you are new to Asos, check them out, along with Windy City Wardrobe!

2) If there’s one thing I love in this world (besides shoes…and denim…and clothes…okay, well you get the idea), it’s reversible pieces. Would you believe this dress is reversible? I’m swooning. Reversible pieces are like getting two pieces for the price of one. If it’s a year-round piece, as this dress is, even better! Reversible dresses also come with a built-in lining, which you cannot beat in summer! Zappos has a great selection of reversible dresses, as do various travel attire retailers.

Anyone else have recommendations for finds at Asos? Thanks so much for stopping by, readers! I appreciate it so very much and happy Monday!

  1. I’ve ordered a few things from ASOS and been pretty satisfied! I just ordered a new swimsuit so I’m super excited to see how they stack up. It’s nearly impossible to find a swimsuit in my freak size, so the fact that they had multiple suits for me to choose from was unbelievably exciting! (Depending on how things go, I may have to do a blog post about it – we’ll see).

    Also, WAY cute shoes! 😀

  2. Layering looking so good in the pics… and i just loved that neckpiece…i m myself looking for such pieces but they are sooo expensive here in India..wish I win some giveaway 😉😀

  3. You are the queen of layering!! Love the open toe booties, I can never wear them well..sigh. My ankles are too thin for ankle booties. But can we talk about your necklace, I am absolutely loving it!!
