Despite being sick most of the week, this week has been full wonderful- full of kindness and unexpected surprises. Shout-out to support systems: family, friends, partners, colleagues. You all make the world go round.

Fashion Huntress tips:
1) I recently discovered that my local TJ Maxx has a “designer” clearance rack, which is in a different part of the store than the rest of the clearance racks. Once I realized there was a designer clearance section, I began checking it regularly (once every 1-3 weeks). I found that the prices are definitely discounted, but still not really within my price point. However, like anywhere else, it pays to scan through the rack when in the store for what I call the “really deep discounts.” Occasionally, items are marked down to over 80% off, so it does pay to take a couple of minutes to scan your local store when you’re already there, even if the discounts aren’t always that great. 
2) I’m a big fan of the Vince Camuto Signature line. I find that the shoes are edgy but classic, and can be found at great prices via Saks Off 5th (http://www.saksoff5th.com/). Once these shoes are discounted, they are seriously discounted! If you don’t have a Saks Off 5th in your area, they have a great online shop (especially the shoe section). While the clothing is also seriously marked down, the biggest savings seem to come from the shoe department, so check it out if you’re interested!

  23. Super cute tweed dress! I hope you’re feeling better! What would we do without our support systems?!! I’m a big fan of Vince Camuto shoes too, I have a few pairs 😍 It’s funny as much as I love the shoe line I’ve never bought anything from the apparel line.
