forever forward (with neverest outfitters)

IMG_3311

I’ve always been a person who relies on my instinct and intuition in life. …sometimes to a fault. For example, when I claim I don’t like a store because I don’t like the way it “feels” inside. …yeah, I’m that person. But let’s move on from that, and focus on when instinct and intuition are a bit more concrete than a “feeling.” When I was approached by the staff at Neverest Outfitters, I just got a “good feeling,” which was then made concrete by learning the story of their company and the dedication the staff has to standing behind their product. To state it simply, I just like this company, who they are, what they stand for, and what they make. This is a company that is getting back to the good ‘ole days when you could buy a bag that was guaranteed for life, made my artisans down the street, handstamped, and sent out with a handwritten letter. Made in my neighboring state to the north, these Minnesotans know where it’s at for making a bag that you’ll carry for life. This is my dressed up version of their tote bag. I’m headed, as Neverest Outfitters says, Forever Forward…and carrying my tote on the way.

Fashion Huntress tips:
1) You can find this bag (on sale!) and others via their website at http://www.neverestoutfitters.com/. All of their bags come with a lifetime guarantee, which you can read more about here. For investment bags (ie bags that won’t go out of style and you truly will use for life), I highly recommend getting a bag with a lifetime guarantee. Sadly, fewer and fewer companies still offer this type of craftsmanship, though there are still that remain, including Neverest Outfitters!
2) This is my dressed-up version of the tote bag, though clearly it would be easy to dress this down with just about any outfit (jeans, weekend looks, etc). Look out for an upcoming post with a very dressed-up version of this tote to see another option for styling. If you’re anything like me, you’re carrying an extra pair of shoes around with you in winter, so you don’t end up wearing boots all day (seriously, wish I could, but it’s not allowed at work). A stylish and versatile tote is a great way to carry around your spare shoes and winter apparel, as it will be easily styled with just about any work outfit.
As always, I’ve taken no financial compensation to share my opinion. This is just my honest opinion of Neverest Outfitters.
Anyone have any top totes feedback? Thanks so much for stopping by, readers! I appreciate it so much! Happy mid-week!

  1. Love your outfit (that skirt is amazing!). Thank you for introducing me to yet another cool brand! You did a great job dressing up that tote bag. I guess one can’t be too thrifty for a $100+ backpack because of the lifetime guarantee – who can beat that?!

  2. I love small shops/boutique items, they always seem to have made them with so much love and care. Every single piece has a story of its own!! Loving this bag, seems like a carryall for weekend trips!

  3. I love this whole outfit. I might have to borrow your printed skirt + denim shirt combo because it’s fantabulous. The bag is also lovely, and it’s made in the USA, which is awesome. Tote bags are so versatile, I have so many of them 🙂

  4. ooh, such a cool bag! and love the fact that it’s handcrafted locally (well, local for US residents at least!). the style reminds me of Nordic style (Marimekko has a bag type like that, and also Fjällräven), which i just LOVE. 🙂 lucky you to get approached by the Neverest Outfitters!

  5. I love the tote bag and the yellow tights! Fantastic!

I’m totally with you about not shopping at certain places because of the vibe they give off. That’s me to a T. 😀
