Something about houndstooth really says, “the holidays are here.” And despite not loving the snow and cold, I’m super excited for winter white, glitter dresses, houndstooth, and sparkle everything. And don’t even get me started on ABC Family’s Countdown to Christmas holiday line-up because I won’t stop telling you how excited I am for that too. In short, I’m just feeling the holiday love in my houndstooth dress.

Fashion Huntress tips:

1) I had a lot of success at DSW on my last visit. I’ve noticed that, more often than not, their clearance shoes are actually more discounted in stores than online (which is somewhat rare, compared to other retail stores, besides Banana Republic). For example, the shoes featured here are still $35 online, but were $25 in stores. It definitely pays to go to the store if you have the time. Don’t forget to also sign-up for DSW’s free “point” card to earn points and a birthday coupon. 

2) There’s approximately 100+ houndstooth dresses via Oasap. Most of the dresses range from $15-$35. I found that the online measurements were accurate and that the fabric quality was quite good. I even tossed this dress in the washing machine (in a garment bag), and then let it air dry. The dress came out perfectly. (I’ll leave the part about spilling hot cocoa on it out, since that was a terrible situation. Seriously, I’m really clumsy). Anywho, you can find all of their dresses online here.
