Well….I don’t want to be a broken record, but I’m still excited about the three day weekend and upcoming holiday. I’m not sure why one extra free day seems so magical, but it does! Since in my mind it’s already the weekend, I’m clearly dressed for the 4th today…two days early. I guess that makes me fashionably early? Let’s go with it.
Shirt: Forever 21 ($20)
Dress: Banana Republic (approx $10 marked down from approx $150, got it a long time ago!)
Shoe: Gap ($21 marked down from $50)
Belt: Forever 21 ($5? another piece that I got a long time ago…)
Necklace: Nadri via Nordstrom Rack ($14 marked down from $50)
Bag: Peter Pilotto for Target ($3 marked down from $35)
Fashion Huntress tips:
Go shopping this weekend! LOL that is my tip for today. But for real, there’s bound to be some great sales and resale-ing to be had. Enjoy and have a great rest of the week! Thanks so much for stopping by, readers! And please do share below if you’ve already got your 4th look planned- I’d love to hear how people style their patriotic looks.
The dress is nice 🙂
I love this. My mom made a blanket like this when I was little and I still have it in my closet… ohhh memories! This dress is gorgeous too!

Love this look, especially the belt and those shoes are perfect! I need those for my outfit tomorrow, haha. I’m going to an all-day music festival so I will be wearing a blue denim crop top with a high-waisted blue and white western-y skirt and a red lip. But I am still stumped on the shoes!
Oooo! Sounds super cute! Hmmm maybe a wedge!? I bet you found something perfect :)! Hope you had fun!!

Wow love the pairing of denim with a dress 😀
Was never a fan of layering because I felt it made me look bulkier. But adding a belt definitely does the trick right? Should try it.!
There was one thing missing from your “Where to buy” list…a very important accessory as it turns out: your book! What you reading on this fine 4th July? xo
Oh yes! I didn’t add that! I’m reading The Little Friend by Donna Tartt :)!
