pajama party (the spring reprise)

Oh yes, readers. Yes, yes, the pajama pants are back in action this spring. I couldn’t be happier than wearing pajama-like pants and a comfy button down on a cool spring day. Not only that, but I think this is the most cost efficient look on the blog thus far. The whole look? $13. This is pure pajama bliss.

Anywho, the pajamas were last spotted in fall and winter, as seen below. (Do you like how I talk about these pants like they are celeb sighting? I’m just trying my hand at some Us Weekly reporting, I think).

And now the pants can be seen around town this spring…(am I taking this Us Weekly theme too far?)

Fashion Huntress tips:

1) When the clearance rack is out at Ann Taylor Loft, I always make it a point to stop and look. Everything is generally final sale on their clearance rack, so make sure to try everything on! However, the rack generally houses pieces for $5 and under: pants, tops, dresses, you name it. I have not quite figured out when the clearance rack is out and when it is not, but I have noticed that it is generally out during their “additional markdowns on sale items” events. I normally see it either up by the dressing rooms or next to the registers, and it’s usually just one metal rack. Keep an eye out for it!

2) Wow, I’m on a real DIY (do it yourself) kick lately. For me, crafting is my therapeutic time to relax and to take some time to regroup. Pinterest, as I’m sure you know, has SO MUCH DIY. It’s almost overwhelming, right? But, I generally just type in “DIY” and “Jewelry” and find some great projects. Even if you don’t sew, there’s a ton of projects on there that involve nothing more than some wire and beads, or some pliers and beads, or old t-shirts. I get a lot of my supplies at the dollar stores in my area; not all dollar stores are created equal (like their prices are above a dollar? I don’t get it). But, if you look on yelp for reviews, you can find the biggest ones that have crafting supplies and get enough supplies to last you a Pinterest DIY lifetime.

Anyone else have tips for the magical Ann Taylor clearance rack? DIY on Pinterest? Thanks so much for stopping by! I love reading your comments and tips!
