I really can appreciate any day that starts with G’s take on my work outfit on any given day:
G: Don’t take this the wrong way…
G: You look like Peter Pan today.
G: In a good way! In a good way! And maybe a little like that girl from Brave…
G: Yeah! Merida! Brave Peter Pan!
You know what? I’ll take it. Merida and Peter Pan both had endless enthusiasm, bravery, and commitment to their dreams. I’ll totally take that, and aspire to those characteristics, in my brave Peter Pan look.

Fashion Huntress tips:
1) Seriously, what is going on with these boots and me? I basically won’t take them off. Feel free to have an intervention with me…or feel free to notice how versatile they are and go find a pair of your own! DSW has a lot of boots, and they have a way to get coupons for $5 off via Twitter. Check out their Twitter feed for more information. https://twitter.com/DSWShoeLovers
2) Socks with tights! I’m so excited I checked this off my fashion ‘to-try’ list. I paired my tights with socks that were basically the same color. I then just bunched the socks up slightly to show them off (a la 90s!) with the boots. I think this would also look good with different colored socks- maybe a pair that matched the top. I’ll add it to my ‘to-try’ list, as I have not yet branched out further.
Anyone have socks and tights tips? Having a good start to the week? I hope so! Thanks for stopping by, lovely readers!!
