This blog really would not be possible without the efforts of so many amazing people, including all of you, the readers! I wanted to take an opportunity today to recognize one of my photographers. G, my amazingly graceful and compassionate friend and office mate of almost five years, graciously takes photos nearly every day for the blog. She is always willing to take her daily break to offer up her advice while photographing my outfits. Having been a model when she was growing up, her posing tips are hysterical (and seriously useful). You know you have a quality friend (and photographer) when they point out that your bum looks a bit odd in a photo, or that you’re looking a bit stiff…and is willing to call out the tips publicly as you go.
In short, this is a shout-out to G for her tireless work on making the Fashion Huntress photos look so fabulous with what I consider to be somewhat limited resources (ie an iPhone and a lot of long, sterile hallways).
I’d also like to thank:
1) My bff A for her willingness to step-in whenever G is out. Sometimes she calls me to say, “I’m concerned about when those photos are going to get taken today…” A sample of A’s work:
2) My boyfriend J for the weekend photos that he never complains about…including when we have to drive somewhere because the outfit “really wants to be photographed in a forest.” A sample of J’s work:
3) My mom for being a seriously dedicated editor. She even edited when she was on vacation in Argentina. No joke. (A sample of my mom’s work is every typo you, hopefully, never saw!).
And for all of you who read, comment, support, offer input, send me messages and pics of your own finds, those of you who read my blog at 2 am while getting up to check on your newborn (ie my sister), and all the blogging friends I have met along the way.
