fawning over fall

Is it just me, or are a lot of people also getting excited for fall (and fall fashion) this August?

Case in point, I was recently at a great sale at Gap; everything was 40% off their entire sale section.

Most of their bright pants were marked down to less than $10.

I liked these bright colored pants a LOT, but I decided that I wanted to get a color that would be wearable throughout more than just spring and summer. Thus, I ended up with this orange shade:

I think this shade of orange is great for summer, but also for fall. They were the perfect pick for my fall mentality!

If you’re in the market for fall fashion, like me, then consider shopping the summer sales with transitional pieces in mind. These orange pants, for example, would look great with a thick dark navy or black sweater and booties in fall. For summer, I’ll pair them with sandals and a white t-shirt or tank top.

This is a really great time of year to sale shop for summer clothes, but you can also find a ton of great stuff that can transition into fall too. Check out their sale online- still 40% off their sale section! http://www.gap.com

Happy Sunday, readers! I hope everyone is enjoying the weekend! Thank you for visiting!

  2. Have been noticing a lot of fall fashions already myself..I do not want to give up on summer yet though…Personally this fall, its going to be all about aubergine for me..Love that shade of purple. Great blog.. 🙂

    • I just saw the fabulous aubergine version of the orange pants yesterday! I cannot wait to get them for fall. I agree, I’ll hold onto summer a little longer, but the purple pants, sweaters and scarves are calling my name! 🙂 Thank you for visiting and commenting!

  3. Those pants are amazing! Do they hit at the ankle?
I kind of have a little bit of a neon obsession so these might just do the trick! Plus at 40% they’re a total steal!

Thanks for the head’s up! 😀

    • Yes! They hit at the ankle, so they don’t need to be hemmed and they are made to roll up a little, so then they can look a bit more like capris if you want. They still had a ton left by me, so hopefully you’ll find some good ones!! Thanks for visiting!!

  4. I have to admit, fall fashion is my favorite, and I couldnt be more excited! 😉 Love your style and blog. Feel free to check out my fashion blog… http://www.chloescravings.wordpress.com and instagram:chloescravings
