remix and rematch, part 2

As promised, it’s time for another remix and rematch! It is always fun to try and wear something in a new way. It is also much more budget friendly to rotate pieces than to buy all brand new pieces to create a new look.

Without further ado, here are the remixed looks from the past few weeks.

Shoes: Lula Townsend at DSW ($12 marked down from $79)

Fashion Huntress tips:

1) I wear my black and white shoes like a neutral. As you can see in the photos, they actually read like a neutral shoe from a distance.  It is only when you are closer that you can see the black and white spots. Try rethinking some of your own items to see if you can pair them with other patterns and prints that you have not yet tried.

2) Even pieces that you think may not be that versatile can end up being heavily rotated in your looks if you just try them out with unexpected clothes you already have.  I was surprised that the hot pink necklace, for example, was so easy to pair with different outfits.  I got extra use out of it by wearing it short when I double looped it. Most long necklaces can be double looped for wear with outfit that looks best with a shorter necklace.  Just be careful that the necklace material is sturdy enough to be looped and re-shaped!

Happy weekend, readers!
