“I have seen many storms in my life. Most storms have caught me by surprise, so I had to learn very quickly to look further and understand that I am not capable of controlling the weather, to exercise the art of patience and to respect the fury of nature.” Paulo Coelho

Fashion Huntress tips:

1) If there’s one thing that is seriously underrated as a staple, I think it’s the white blazer. I can’t believe I didn’t have one until recently! Now that I do, of course, I find myself wearing it all the time as a great staple for a work wardrobe. Even though tweed is traditionally considered a fall and winter fabric, in a white blazer, I find it really works well for spring and summer. There tend to be a lot of blazers via thrift, Nordstrom Rack, and Rue La La, if you are ever looking for one!

2) There’s a lot going on with this look, but the denim and white definitely serve as neutrals for the look. Additionally, while the back of the denim shirt is open, I added a tank top underneath and then added the blazer to ensure the look was conservative enough for work. This is an outfit that easily translates to an evening look, solely by wearing the blazer for daytime and then going sleeveless for evening.

Anyone else loving white blazers? Thanks so much for stopping by, readers! I appreciate it so very much!

  1. All of the details on this outfit are amazing! You did a great job at capturing them in the pictures! Once again I love how you have mixed all of the pieces together.

  2. Wow, I love this look! The top, the houndstooth, the shoes – and yes, the white blazer ties it altogether!! 😀 Sadly, I still don’t own any blazers. *sigh* Someday! And I promise you’ll be the first to hear about it when I finally do invest in one!
